Estate Planning

Estate planning is essential for all individuals. Planning for the future now, can save your family both time and money in the future. An estate plan is only as good as the attorneys, accountants, certified financial planners, and insurance agents who work together to develop a comprehensive plan.

At Egbert and Barnes we will either work closely with our client’s existing team of professionals or we will refer trusted professionals with whom we recommend. We take the time to listen to our clients’ individual concerns. We adopt and address those concerns, and explain the documents in their entirety, so that the client fully understands the plan.

Some of our estate planning clients are also business owners. We work with those clients to make sure the business can continue on after death or incapacity of one or more of the owners, and make sure that there are sufficient funds to pay taxes or buy-out the exiting owner.
